The web site

        http://www.debian.org/distrib/vendors

Contains a list of vendors.

Alternativly, www.cheapbytes.com sells CDs over the internet.

You are forwarned that linux is not a single program but an entire operating
system including around 6000 programs, so requires significantly more effort
to install than an ordinary program. For example, you will have to partition
off a large chunk of your hard disk for use with linux (6000 programs take a
lot of disk space!)

Debian is one of the distributions of linux. I consider it to be the best
available, but it is not the easiest for first time users. You will almost
certainly need someone to help you at first. Alternativly you could try an
easier distribution, such as Corel Linux, and swap to a full debian release
once you get the used to the system.
