Hi all, i'm planning to make a striped disk set out of 2 4GB Ultra SCSI (20Mbps) disks. I know this should offer a performance increase but am wondering what will be the percentage of this increase. What about adding a third SCSI-II disk (10Mbps) to this set, would that result in some erratic performance/failure ?
Is it really worth it ? What about LVM, does this offer similar advantages as in striping ? Greetings, Joris
