Hello List:
I am having difficulties installing debian 2.2r on my laptop.
I downloaded the image and created my CD-ROM
The CD boots up then prompts me to hit <enter> to begin installation
It starts the kernel, then I get a KERNEL PANIC and it starts to dump
From what I can gather I got the following
Load kernel image...........................................
kernel panic
checking 386/387
In swapper task - not syncing
387 failed:trying to reset
387 failed:trying to reset
over and over.............
I don't think it likes my Cyrix processor
does anyone know of any boot parameters to bypass the check
