I have a computer at home which is not connected to the internet (no modem, ISDN etc). I want woody on this machine as all new packages require libc6 2.2.x and X 4.0 and I need the latest versions of some packages. I downloaded the unofficial CDs (made 01-01-2001) from ftp.fsn.hu and took them with me to install. But unfortunately those do not contain libc6 2.2.x only 2.1.3 as far as I could find out. So I was wondering if it is possible to make woody CD-s oneself (without too much fuzz) or if there is another way?
I know I can just get the libc6 deb file, but there are a lot of dependancies that I would have to trackdown as well so I don't think that would be easy, unless somebody has a trick :-) Thanks in advance for any help. PS: Is there set any deadline for woody as of now? -- Preben Randhol ---------------------- http://www.pvv.org/~randhol/ -- +---+ "There was, I think, never any reason to believe in any innate | ! | superiority of the male, except his superior muscle." +---+ -- Bertrand Russell, Ideas That Have Harmed Mankind (1950)
