If you add your user to the group audio, you achieve the same with more
security.

# adduser youruser audio

Then you have to logout and login again -> you can use /dev/dsp and
/dev/mixer without a hassle.

Oh, and please use the right permissions in /dev/dsp and /dev/mixer:

# chmod 660 /dev/dsp
# chmod 660 /dev/mixer
