Hello everybody and happy new year !!! I've got some difficulties to make my CD-RW work. It's a PCMCIA recognized as ATAPI/IDE. For example, i can mount it after having loaded the ide_cs module. The name of the device is /dev/hde.
Now to burn with cdrecord, you need a SCSI device. Is there an easy way to make the beast emulated as an SCSI device ? I tried append="hde=ide-scsi" in lilo.conf, but this don't work. Thanks a lot for any help ! Olivier.
