Are you sure about that? The question was about a 905 series card, not a 590 series card. The 905 series are PCI cards, and I believe the 590 series (or was it 509 series?) are ISA.
Both 3Com and RedHat say that the 3c905b card does NOT work with Linux. I don't know about the 3c905c.
