Hello all, Just a quick question: what exactly does "dpkg -l foo" show?
Let me explain: of recent, I've noticed that for certain (few) packages if I do "dpkg -l foo" and it produces no matches/output, a subsequent "apt-get install foo" *WILL* find and install the desired package. So if this package exists, why isn't it listed in "dpkg -l foo"??? Help. :) -- Maciej Kalisiak [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.dgp.toronto.edu/~mac
