Actually, it turns out that the sourcecode was kept on a vfat system, so it was full of \r characters. Dumb place to keep a Linux driver, IMHO. I removed them with a quick ex command, and all is well now. Both cards were detected. Now to make sure they actually work. Thanks for the responses people. Mike -- Michael P.
