After doing a "general" update using dselect, only the root user has
access to the X server. Any other user running "startx" receives the
following error message:
X: user not authorized to run the X server, aborting.
giving up.
xinit: Connection refused (errno 111): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
