What do you mean, doesn't find them? If you're talking about document classes, you must translate them for LyX. Take a look at existing "layouts" in /usr/share/lyx/layouts/, and build your own in ~/.lyx/layouts/. See chapter 6 of the "Customization" help file. Andre
