Hi there, I was just trying to configure my printer and the "modprobe lp" command fails. However I am able to start the printer manually by using "insmod lp", but it fails at boottime.
By searching in a few newsgroups I figured out that the lp.o module in kernel 2.2.17 is somehow broken. So I just wanted to know if there exists a solution yet without having to recompile the kernel because I don't have the time for that right now.
