Your boot disk has to point to the root partition of the system it's booting on. What failure or error messages are you getting from the laptop when you try to boot? everything is smooth through the partition check and then I get: Invalid session number or type of track Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 03:01 seems like your on the right track. Any idea how to fix it? thanks, Andy __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? >From homework help to love advice, Yahoo! Experts has your answer. http://experts.yahoo.com/
