apt-get tends to be interruptable.  If you haven't already booted, you
should find that you can, your disks will probably require an fsck
(which will happen automatically).  If "apt-get dist-upgrade" doesn't
run, it will probably prompt you to run "dpkg --configure -a" to finish
configuring any half-configured packages.

Pretty clean, all-in-all.  Try that with RPM <g>.
