Previously with KDE 1.1.2 I had emacs working with the Meta function being my ALT key.
However after installing KDE2 on debian the ALT key no longer responds in the emacs window as it is being used globally by KDE2. Even if I change the KDE keybindings emacs is not able access the ALT key. Any ideas as to how I could remove the ALT keybinding totally from KDE? Tom
