Actually, that means "zlib1g-dev needs zlib1g, epoch 1, version 1.1.3, Debian release 5 to install. However, the only available zlib1g is epoch 1, versino 1.1.3, Debian release 9." Somehow you got a newer version of zlib1g than is in potato. You should manually retrieve the potato version of zlib1g and use dpkg --force-downgrade to correct it. -- sparky
