I am seeking help identifying installations that use Debian in production. Specifically, for database servers, and ideally for web sites that read from and write to a database.
To give some background, I've given some spare time help to a small company setting up a web site, helping them to install and use an Oracle database on Potato, so far just for development. Naturally, I think Debian, as the 'Universal Operating System', would be a good choice for eventual production use also, but there is some reluctance in the company. If you know of installations or web sites that are using Debian in production, please let me know (or if you think Debian is *not* a good choice). Thanks -- Nick
