I just upgraded to Debian Linux from Mandrake Linux. I have been running
[EMAIL PROTECTED] from a subdirectory of my home directory while using Mandrake,
but while going through the list of available packages with dselect I saw
that there was a setiathome package, so I figured why not have [EMAIL
PROTECTED] be
managed by the packaging system. As per the directions in the package
description I copied the tarball into /tmp and then downloaded the package
with apt-get. When the package was installing it raised an error:

(Reading database ... 54555 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking setiathome (from .../setiathome_2.4-3_i386.deb) ...
Setting up setiathome (2.4-3) ...
Error: setiathome-2.4.i386-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1.tar not found in /tmp.
Shall I retrieve setiathome-2.4.i386-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1.tar for you from
the web site [Y/n] ?

I answered 'no'. The tarball I have been using is
setiathome-2.4.i686-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1.tar , and that is the tarball I
put into /tmp. My question is, is there any way to get the setiathome
package to recognize the i686 version of the tarball? Perhaps an equally
important question is: Is the i686 version actually any faster than the
i386 version (if not I can just get the i386 version and use it instead.)
