because 1) debian-user is INFORMATIVE for folks who are looking for answers. 2) debian-user is chock-full of helpful people. 3) debian-user often gets questions answered in a matter of hours. 4) with apt-get, you expect /debian/ users to have trouble? :) despite -1) debian-user is flooded with all kinds of flotsam -2) debian-user occasionally sends a newbie to rtfm -3) debian-user still is unmoderated, so folks like s.lamb get through :) so maybe we need a new list [EMAIL PROTECTED]
