Dear list: I have debian/gnu linux 2.1 setup on my i-486 machine but I don't have a printer yet.
I want to make sure that the printer I get will work, but since I've never even had anything connected to my parallel port, I'm not even sure if that is even working. I've read a little on printing in the HOWTO but I'm still confused as to how to take full advantage of the options I have. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA M.Henry
