Hmm, it is hardly possible to do with floppies. The *.debs are not optimised to fit on a floppy, e.g. kernel-sources are 12 MB or so large. Do you have a possibility to use a modem or get CDs? The problem is, that with a plain base-install, there is still quite a bunch of packages missing which are necessary to fulfill dependencies.
