I originally installed debian w/ dhcp. I am now going through a firewall. I can't seem to find the files that contain the correct information so I can modify them to use the new information. Right now I have to type 'ifconfig eth0 down' then bring it up with the correct information.
When I modify the info using linuxconf it doesn't keep the changes. How do I go about changing this info permanently?
