Hey guys. So I want a high-encryption copy of netscape for online
banking, and I grab one from the Netscape homepage. Unfortunately, I've
got the wrong version of the c++ library.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] netscape]$ ldd netscape
        libBrokenLocale.so.1 => /lib/libBrokenLocale.so.1 (0x40017000)
        libXt.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so.6 (0x40019000)
        libSM.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libSM.so.6 (0x40061000)
        libICE.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libICE.so.6 (0x4006a000)
        libXmu.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXmu.so.6 (0x40081000)
        libXpm.so.4 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4 (0x40093000)
        libXext.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6 (0x400a1000)
        libX11.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6 (0x400ad000)
        libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x4014e000)
        libstdc++.so.2.8 => not found
        libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x40153000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x40170000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)

        It's looking for libstdc++.so.2.8. I have 2.9.

        Suggestions? Grab the one library? Better solution?

        Why isn't there a high-encryption netscape on the debian ftp
site? Or is there?

        Mike
