Hi! Of course it depends on who you ask.....:-) Generally I like KDE because it is locical in so many ways, but I don't like how big it is and therefore takes a lot of resources, and it's not 'free'. Gnome is faster (for me) but I got problems with using different keyboard layouts in Gnome, but it's free. I really love fvwm2 and icewm but there I got this problem with differet keyboard layouts; I don't know how to configure use that in them.
