I'm having a bit of trouble with a Ricoh MP-7080A CD burner - basically
it hangs my system whenever I try to burn a data CD. Audio CDs burn fine,
however.
I'm using a stock 2.2.15 kernel with the appropriate enhanced IDE and ReiserFS
pathches. The cd burner is connected to the HPT366 controller of an Abit BP6
motherboard. It's using the ide-scsi driver.
I've tried cdrecord 1.8 from unstable, and also fresh compiles
of 1.8.1 and 1.9a03 but to no avail.
I'd really appreciate any comments or suggestions - has anyone else got this
drive working?
