I have been working at this all morning, and most of the afternoon and I just can't seem to figure out how to solve this problem. I am trying to compile mod_perl 1.24 statically with apache 1.3.12 and I keep getting the same errors no matter what I try to do. I keep getting an error message that says '_dl_default_scope' is undefined, found in function doit.2. Why would I be getting this and how do I fix it. I am running with a pretty standard install of Debian 2.1 with a few upgraded packages from potato. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
