Win2000 trouble

I tried installing VNC as a server on a Windows 2000 advanced server.  When
I try to connect to it from a client, I get "connection closed" or if I give
it the wrong password I get "authentication failed".  I tried connecting to
the client using "listening mode" but that didn't work either.  It's not the
client cause I have been using it on other servers and still can (NT 4).
FYI, I used an upgraded version on the server...3.3.3r7.  Any ideas?
