Seccondly, other dialing programs that are supposedly able to re-dial a dumped connection do noto even detect dissconnection. It happens with all those programs.   This is a major problem as I run a mail server on the machine that needs minimal downtime.   Any assistanfce would be greatly apreciated.   Regards,   Ben
