I have read in the documentation that if smtp failed connect during
fetchmail -v means that fetchmail can't connect to my localhost. it was
advised that I try to check if I can telnet to port 25 on my
machine.Actually, I can't telnet to my machine using my hostname or
localhost. So maybe that is the problem. it doesnt say there how to fix this
problem. so now what can I do? Any ideas?
btw, does'nt telnet default to port 25?
