Well, I figured it out. I needed the firewall to intercept ARP requests for my hosts from the cable modem.
The two commands (both needed) that got it working were: arp -i eth0 -Ds 24.x.x.190 eth0 arp -i eth0 -Ds 24.x.x.190 eth0 pub Thanks for the help. -- Please always Cc to me when replying to me on the lists.
