Not sure of this specific case, but in general, you can use 'fuser' to found what's running on a mountpoint: $ fuser -vm /usr USER PID ACCESS COMMAND /usr root 598 ....m pinger root 649 ....m wwwoffled root 959 ....m ippl root 965 ....m ippl root 968 ....m lpd root 994 ....m mysqld [...] -- Karsten M.
