Hi list I have KDE running fine. Yeeh! I now just need to make an adjustment of the screen as it goes "off" of the right side of the mon. I could, of course, do the adjustment on the monitor itself, but that would interfer with all non-KDE screens. Any way to do this? I remember SuSE's sax (their X config-tool) would do this adjustment at the end of the X setup process.
The next thing concerns my newly built kernel. I made kernels before, but not on debian. So I downloaded kernel-source version 2.0.38. (Running the O'Reilly-slink) I could do "make menuconfig" fine and compiling didn't give any errors (except for as86 not being installed initially <-- shouldn't the dependencies have handled that?!?). When booting with it though, I get a dump-like thing. What should I do?
