Adapted from my /etc/crontab:
24 4 * * * root /usr/sbin/ntpdate <timeserver> 1>/dev/null
You'll have to select a timeserver for your system, RTFM. You may also
want to modify the time specs at which the script runs (my own system
syncs four times daily).
