after getting "apt-get upgrade" all clean (not that there isn't a hangnail now and then) i noticed that i've got lots of stuff in /usr/share/doc now. much of it looks just like the stuff i've already got under /usr/doc.
is the /usr/share/doc stuff significant? should it replace the /usr/doc items? can i obliterate it?
