hey. i'm hoping someone knows the answer to this. i'm trying to do a fresh potato install and i've had this problem no matter what i try and do. i get to the point where i reboot off of the hard drive, everything boots up as normal until this point:
Starting portmap daemon: portmap. Setting the System Clock using the Hardware Clock as reference... and then it hangs forever (i even left it over night and it never made it past this). i told it to set the hardware clock to GMT, am using the 2.2 features of ext2 and have a large ide drive (13.6 gb) which are the only things i've done differently from any other install. is this a known bug? any help appreciated, thanks. adam.
