If you have the CDs and a web server, you can change your sources.list to point to the server; then you'd get a web-install environment. (I don't have the CDs, but I did the same thing with apt-move; it worked well. (PAM to be exact.) I did mix and match on slink and potato, the ftpd wouldn't work. Then I reinstalled potato (from floppies), then apt-get upgrade, apt-get update, apt-get install wu-ftpd, voila, the ftp server worked well. Oki
