Every once in a while this happens ;) ... i was going to post a reply, but then i saw the second post and decided not to. Anyway, here's my $0.04: On my system, set to "America/Chicago", the daylight savings time change was handled automatically. I wonder, if i had been using "CST6CDT" instead (the two should be equivalent, AFAIK) would i have had the same problem? -- finger for GPG public key.
