At last resort, I rebooted my machine and it cleared up my X-windows. I am keeping current with potato changes and am using the XF86_3DLabs x-server. I thought at first something was wrong with my graphics card. But no, I just needed to reboot. I guess it was time, I had only upgraded many, many packages as potato updates come in. But I would like to know if there was a memory leak?
