Section "Pointer" Protocol "MouseManPlusPS/2" Device "/dev/mouse" Resolution 100 Buttons 3 EndSection ...though I do have the problem that the first time I start X, the middle button (wheel) doesn't work until I launch XF86Setup as root and twiddle with the mouse driver setting a bit. Seems I need to first set it to "GlidePoint", then "ThinkingManPS/2" (IIRC), then finally "MouseManPlusPS/2". It's sufficient to run through the sequence in XF86Setup and hit "Apply" a couple of times, I don't have to save the config. Only required on a fresh boot, and only recently (since Jan/2000?). -- Karsten M. Self (kmself@ix.netcom.com) What part of "Gestalt" don't you understand?
