Hi, I've got an Adaptec SCSI host adapter and tried to use it instead of my old SYMBIOS adapter, which has no bios interface onboard. After the change fdisk spit out a lot of errors, and I remembered that both adapters have different sorts of hard formats.
Do anyone know of a way to go? Backing up completely isn't a choice, because my backups are on MO disks and also formatted with the SYMBIOS. Should it be possible to install both adapters and transferring the from one hard disk to another? Hoping for help, joachim
