adapter: Intel 82557 EtherExpressPro100B kernel: Linux version 2.2.13 eepro module: eepro100.c:v1.09l 8/7/99 eepro module config: eepro100 debug=1 options=48 (48 meaning Full-Duplex + 100mbps-only) The switch is also configured 100Mbs/full-duplex (no auto-config).
I have 13 ipaliases defined. Everything worked OK up to 10 ipaliases. The minute I added aliases 11 and 12 (and now 13) the network interface started doing this: Feb 11 13:51:08 pat kernel: eth0: Transmit timed out: status 0050 0070 at 2029781/2029793 command 000c0000. Feb 11 13:53:38 pat kernel: eth0: Trying to restart the transmitter... Any idea where things went wrong? Is 13 ipaliases too much for 1 adapter? Or is it the 100mbs/full-duplex/ipaliases combination?
