But, I will take a guess at this given the information that you have provided. What version of Debian are you running? 'cat /etc/debian_version' if you don't know. Or are you running Corel Linux, which is based on Debian? Debian 2.1 is codenamed 'slink'. 2.2 is codenamed 'potato'. If you are running slink and trying to install the ldso from potato, this will not work. Where are you getting you ldso package? Again, please post some of the errors that you see when trying to install ldso. noah PGP Public Key available at http://www.morgul.net/~frodo/mail.html or by `finger -l [EMAIL PROTECTED] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.3a Charset: noconv iQCVAwUBOJyqiYdCcpBjGWoFAQHDlgQAm1LKuWgShxTXqvEYcX55vhJiwmybPmer 0dP7k7ruP90aCEoSEQRK3RWKbvJlJCXE3Kov6NPghtQp1ejyPW3GAJ8njwHlpVxS VuRklc4ZPxoRMbcakIWkUgjPnUx8SdSAerUa+iZElVQlEUP9pWIu7heCDSjFFaHC oh2YF5NrCy4= =zC7o -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
