There is a gs driver called `uniprint' that gives better results with a number of printers. To use it, there is a number of parameter files ending in `.upp'. Read about it in /usr/doc/gs/devices.txt.gz. I think you need `gs @cdj550.upp...' (this is what I use for a HP 870CXI). HTH, Eric -- E.L.
