You're trying to get GTK+ from potato, correct? You'll probably have to upgrade all of your major libs to the potato versions...
I would try this: make sure you have frozen (potato) in your /etc/apt/sources.list: deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian frozen main contrib non-free deb-src http://http.us.debian.org/debian frozen main contrib non-free deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US frozen/non-US main contrib non-free deb-src http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US frozen/non-US main contrib non-free then: apt-get update apt-get -f install libc6 you should then have a working system, and you can: apt-get install libgtk1.2-dev -brad On Thu, 3 Feb 2000, Cameron Matheson wrote: > Hey everyone > > I have a huge crisis.
