I'm using the same driver on a Dell Inspiron 3500; I coudn't make the driver work on Slink, so I'm using Potato and it works fine.
On a potato, you just go /usr/sbin/pcnetconfig and configure your card; and the files go to /etc/pcmcia/; I don't know where they are on Slink, though. Good Luck.
