I am installing Debian for the first time on my IBM PS/1 with 14MB RAM. I have tried re-imaging the boot disk twice and have even followed the documented recommendations for my machine, but when it starts booting into the install program, it just says "Loading root.bin ..." and then the system hangs with the drive running. I have waited over 30minutes for something to happen, but nothing does. Any suggestions?
