they are different things. I'm using all them from potato. I haven't
enough time to compile myself.

yes! and don't know if this is a bug or a feature.
btw, could somebody do this test to see if it's reproducible:
- have apache+mod_ssl running ok with virtual hosts for https
- do some change in the config files (e.g. httpd.conf)
- run "/usr/sbin/apachectl graceful" to force apache reload its config.
- is the virtual host with https stable yet? (mine seg fault)
