        It doesn't just check downloads.  It also checks atimes on the
package's files.  popularity-contest checks a package's *use*.


        Of course, I may be confusing the poor thing, as I have a
slink-and-a-half system that has quite a few potato packages built
with "fakeeroot apt-get source --compile".
