Hi !! while maintaing debian mirror using debmirror. I am experiencing few problems as the process stops in between with some error message.
Processing standard using ftp.iitm.ac.in releasing 1 pending lock... at /usr/lib/perl5/LockFile/Simple.pm line 182. or sometimes dists/stable/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz: #########################Timeout at /usr/share/perl5/Net/FTP.pm line 468 releasing 1 pending lock... at /usr/lib/perl5/LockFile/Simple.pm line 182 It leads to inconsistency in mirror. Is there any way to update the mirror fastly ? I have tried using rsync option but it doesn't show any progress. Please tell me why is it happening. Please suggest me a way to get it done faster.
