Hi guys,
Got a major problem here. I cannot update my potato installation: all
connections in apt or ftp, apt directly or through dselect, are timed out
as soon as they try to download anything. Manual downloding with ftp from
the very same sites okay. Unfortunately the diagnostics are really just as
sparse as that; all other error messages that I can get if I choose ftp as
access mode are secondary to the first timeout in an ftp - presumably the
Packages file again...
ANY help appreciated! (Last update failed on Nov 6 (Japan), if that helps)
